need some info about why my 240sx keeps duying out on me

my car wont start unless i press the gas in. and i have to keep the gas pedal steady for it to stay on! as soon as i let the gas go it dies out? can anyone tell me the problem?

Unplug the throttle position sensor, see if it still does it. If no, try unplugging the air flow meter, same thing. Some sensor is probably not sending signal.

Sounds like you have a problem with your idle air control valve.You can try cleaning it and clean the throttle body also.
