I did a search on here dealing with the SR20's top speed... there were lots of good points and such but I still have some unawnsered questions...

if you have an Sr20 with a rwhp range of 400-500 what is the top speed and what is invovled reaching around 170mph... cause I wouldn't be able to stand a car that is much slower be able to pass me at 130 on the highway b/c of the gearing on the sr20...

I have no idea what the 5th gear ratio is, or the final drive ratio, or what tire size you will be running...but if you know all of that you can figure out the theoretical top speed at a given number of rpms...its not all about horsepower, you have to have the gearing for it too. Sorry for such a vague response, but that's all I got.

i heard on a nascar program (:oface) that once you top out on the transmission, itll take 12 horsepower to gain 1 higher MPH, and etc etc etc
