Hey guys, as some of you know I have an I35. I realize most of you are Q experts, but maybe some of your expertise can lend to some of my questions.

As of late (admittedly, after having swapped the suspension back to stock) the steering has felt pretty sloppy on my car. In addition, I seem to have a wobble in the steering wheel I just can't seem to get rid of. I've had the car balanced and aligned but it's still there.

To add to that, there are what sound like squeaking/groaning noises coming from the rear suspension when I go over rough uneven surfaces. Now - none of this has ever happened before. This is all new. I posted on NissanX and they seem to think it could have to do with low tire pressure or tires that need replacing. Does anyone here have any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks!

I don't think it's warped rotors. I had warped rotors and I know what that feels like, and this wobble doesn't occur when braking - it occurs pretty much all the time.

I haven't gotten a chance to swing by there yet. I was just hoping I could get some ideas on what the problem might be.

Thanks!

Hopefully you are swinging by there every 90 days for oil changes so they can inspect things, and fix /upgrade things under warranty.

Back to stock was it lowered? Who replaced the struts when the springs were changed?

I get my car serviced at the appropriate intervals at the dealer. I did have Tein springs and KYB GR-2 struts on the car. I ended up not liking the ride, so I swapped it back to stock springs/struts. I performed both suspension installs.

It really sounds like something is loose or badly bent... the wobble in the steering scares me. I'd have it checked out ASAP. Sorry I don't have more suggestions.

I'll get it looked at pretty soon. I don't drive much since I'm at school right now. I know that all the bolts are tight though...I went back and rechecked them - made sure they were at the right torque specs, etc.
