Beginning my KA-T installs by installing some parts early.

Z32 MAF (attached to stock intake)
Apexi Filter
Enthalpy ECU tuned for z32/550cc/93oct
DW 550cc

So I get all the above installed and the car doesn't want to crank, takes a good 10-15 seconds of cranking and pressing the gas pedal before it will finally turn on. Once idling the car keeps stumbling and white smoke is coming out the exhuast that smells completely of gas.

I have pulled the fuel rail and verified all injectors are firing and none are leaking.

So I'm getting way too much fuel right now and I can't figure out why, would having the z32 maf on the stock intake cause this? The only other things I can think of is if the MAF is really a n60 instead of a n62 or the injectors are actually bigger than 550cc. There is a number engraved on the connector of each injector but I'm not sure what it means.

cant recall which but one of the maf wires goes to chassis ground. And yes it would run very rich.

is your sticker purple or orange?

one more thing, n62 can be picky, make sure you have a good section of straight pipe before the maf to "smooth" the airflow.

So I ended up having the signal wire and 12V wires switched up when I soldered everything. So I got that fixed but the car won't start at all now.

What I found is particular now is when the ignition is in the start position, the 12V wire is indeed getting 12V but the signal wire is getting 3.2V which I know is way too high. Would this be a bad MAF?

Something may have fried with those wires crossed.

If everything else is still good, then the car should crank with the MAF unplugged.
