NEED SOME HELP WITH THE CLUTCH ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i have a 90 240sx hatchback stock, no performance parts on it. well my question is how can i tell whether if i need a new clutch or slave clutch or maybe something else. when i drive my 240sx and shift gears sometimes the gears go in perfect and there is other times that the gear will lock, it doesnt let me shift from 1st to 5th gear it only stays at neutral and the clutch doesnt come all the way up. i already bleed the clutch line and keeps locking up. any help will be appreciated go easy on me because im still a noob at 240sx.

pressure plate may be weak. Your symptoms justify a good investigation. If the slave appears to be moving in and out fully then i say you need to drop trans and check the clutch. If you do replace it if you know how. Not an expensive job if you diy.

He isn't trying to shift from 1st to fifth. He is saying it won't shift at all from 1st through 5th. Not the best grammer in the post though.

maybe i explained my self wrong, im not shifting from 1st to 5th. what i mean is that it doesnt let me shift any gear. it wont let me shift to 1,2,3 so and so you get the point right? hey slyedog240sx just in case the slave clutch is not going in and out would that be the reason why it doesnt let me shift through all my gears. noob question, is there a website that can show me or teach me how to drop the trans and check the clutch. im a noob at this so please help.

no harder than any other car. If you don't have any mechanical knowledge then i recomend you have someone you know who does help you or take it to a shop. Try 240sx tech
