so i recently put a diff engine in my car cause mine jumped time.

when i got it started it was making a loud ticking noise.

i switched out the spark plugs and wires and it helped with alot of the noise and it runs alot smoother idles at about 800.

so i decided it must be the timing chain so i installed a brand new timing chain guides and tensioner. even though the old ones were not bad at all.

but the noise will not stop i hve fixed all exhaust leaks replaces the lifters with ones i know work good.

when you rev it it ticks lil louder and faster when you drive it sounds a little like a diesal and ticks t idle.

anyone have n idea?

really sounds like your chain is bad. If it's stretched to much, the tensioner and guides won't do anything. There is a way to measure the slop in the chain, but I'm not familiar with the procedure. Your best bet is to replace the chain before it wears through your front timing cover.
