Guys

I've eliminated a ton of things on my motor, and in doing so, I'm left with quite a few open vacuum/coolant connections.

To ease this process, I've taken pics of every connection I need help with

First display we have here is the Fuel Pressure Regulator, The throttle body fitting, and the balance tube fitting. Notice I have the FPR tied into the throttle body. Since these pics were taken, I have been advised to route the FPR to the balance tube. I take it I should do that, and then cap off the throttle body fitting?

Second display we have is the front of the IACV unit. It has two fittings that come out of it. I have temporarily just used a vaccum hose and looped it to one another. Is this correct?

Next we have the rear balance tube....I currently have the red line going to my MAP sensor

Here are the two hoses that come out of the backside of the IACV. I currently hav these looped together as well. Also there is a smaller fitting on the bottom of the plenum (accepts 5/16" line) that I have temporarily capped off, is that correct?

Lastly I have the rear cooalnt lines. I am aware of where the actual heater core hoses go, however there are two lines coming off of the coolant system. I believe they get routed back into eachother, can anyone confirm?

Thanks guys

the fsm shows the vacuum system if you study it a bit...see my comments in bold.QUOTE=Booztd 3Guys

I take it I should do that, and then cap off the throttle body fitting? that is correct. switch the two so its the opposite of what you have in the picture, then cap the TB fitting (that is for the evap charcoal canister)

Next we have the rear balance tube....I currently have the red line going to my MAP sensor i think you can do that, but the factory setup for that nipple is either the boost gauge or the factory boost control solenoid

Here are the two hoses that come out of the backside of the IACV. I currently hav these looped together as well. Also there is a smaller fitting on the bottom of the plenum (accepts 5/16" line) that I have temporarily capped off, is that correct?the one from the bottom of the plenum i believe is for boost control solenoid or bovs, cannot remember. the bigger lines you looped are for brake booster and clutch booster. just cap one and use one as the brake booster line.

Lastly I have the rear cooalnt lines. I am aware of where the actual heater core hoses go, however there are two lines coming off of the coolant system. I believe they get routed back into eachother, can anyone confirm?forgot how this setup works exactly, but did you hook up the oil cooler correctly? it could be for that.

Thanks guys /QUOTE
