Hello, new here and need some help with a rear end assembly ID. I do old cars and use parts that fit. I'm working on a 1906 Columbia 6 truck shop built replica. The rear end that was on there was too wide and not right, so I found that an 80's Nissan pu rear was just right. About 5 yrs ago I was up in Arkansas picking up a '50 Olds and the guy there had a Datsun/Nissan pu and bought the rear end from him. I don't remember what the truck was exactly. I'm 74 so I forget things, but seems to me it was off an '86 Nissan but not sure. I've installed it and need to make a drive shaft for it and what I'm actually looking for is the companion flange to the round flange off the rear end. I think I've found some Dorman flange that might work, just want to be sure before I spend some money. Hopefully someone here can Id this rear end and also tell me what flange # I'm looking for. Thanks, Joe.

:welcome: to NICO Joe! That's a really cool project. I'll see if I can find someone who knows more about these that can help.

Yeah that's a nifty project. Is there any way you can contact the fellow in Arkansas you bought it from and see if he knows?
Only other thing I could think of is to bring it to a driveshaft shop (or maybe contact Shaftmasters, a NICO sponsor) to see if they can do a driveshaft for you.
