need some help wiring safc

i am hooking up my MAF wire for my safc and need to make some things clear. the manuel says that plug=yellow wire and goes into ecu side and that plug receptacle:white wire goes to air flow sensor. so my question is after i cut the black wire for the maf the yellow wire will hook up to the wire that is directly in the blue ecu plugin and the white wire will hook up to the wire that goes directly to the maf?

i'm really confused about your details...

anyways...cut the air flow sensor wire...tap the yellow wire on 1 end..and tap the white wire on the other end..and your done..simple

make sure you know the white wire is the input and the yellow wire is the output
