Alright guys, I know its usually shunned upon to post want ads or whatever in discussion threads but I'm desperate, lol.

I'm look for a 90-93 (preferably) Q45 for a decent price. By decent I mean I'm looking to spend about 2500 or less if at all possible. If it has lower mileage that would be even better. As long as the engine is good, I'm game. If the body is crap and the transmission is toast its definitely the car for me. If anyone has any leads at all any info would be awesome. I live in south east Kansas but will drive quite a ways to get one. If its pretty far out it'd be best if it was driveable so I could drive it back... but that's not too necessary I suppose.

To not go too OT and whatnot, I was reading a thread that said something about the 90-93's having two hp spikes or peaks that gives you two nice bumps in acceleration. Where do these occur and does anyone know what makes the earlier VH do this and not the 94-95?

I keep finding out more and more stuff these engines that make it sound extremely exciting. I want on baaaaad. :D

It's gonna be darn near impossible to find one for 2500 that is in very good condition. Most Q's at 2500 need another 2500-7500 in rehab.

Most of the older Q's (90 to 93) have high mileage, and need the chain guides replaced. There is one in Montgomery, AL with $1,100 on the windshield. Looks to be Green/Tan. I have not stopped to look at it, lest my '94 get jealous.

If you want to treck to AL, I'll give in a once-over.

well... the thing is I've figured that it would be cheaper for me to just buy the whole car and take what I need and then sell what I don't to people needing Q parts. That way we both win and for a low price.

That's not too bad of a price for the one in AL. Probably has pretty high mileage but might be worth checking out. If you're ever just passing by could you take a look? That would be awesome. You don't have to take any time out of your day though. If you just happen to be passing by it though that would be cool.
