need some help

my started went out on my car and i replaced it now the one i replaced it with isn't working the car doesn't make a noise when i turn the key not even a click i need some help from you guys and also my hud isn't working and i have tried changing my gauge cluster and that didn't help and i have checked all the fuses and wiring and everything seems to be fine is there anything else i should check and how do i do the self diagnostic test on my car i just bought it like 2 weeks ago thanks

HUDS love to go out... go to http://www.240sx.org and go the faq's, there's a section about your HUD problem. As for starter, make sure it's hooked up right, if in question, take it to pepboys/autozone/checkers, and have them test it. No reason why a new one wouldn't crank over, unless battery is dead. Anyway, good luck.
