2005 G35 coupe 65,000 miles. Every night at about 10:30pm the horn beeps like 7 times. Just fast 7 beeps. Then again at about 12:30. Have never heard it through the day. The local Infiniti dealer suggested to change the battery in the FOP. I did that and still same issue. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks

Welcome to NICO

Interesting!

The first thing I would try is removing the battery from the FOB after you return home for the evening.

If the horn fails to beep with the battery removed at 10:30 and 12:30 then the problem is a defective FOB. Put the battery back in to confirm.

If it still happens with the FOB battery removed then I would investigate the frequency that the FOB transmits. Some other device nearby is causing the problem. (remote controls, alarm systems, who knows)

Good luck

I've never thought to try that. Thank you. I'll give it a try and see what I come up with.

Are you sure someone isn't playing a joke on you?? That is a weird issue!

Test it by trying to be somewhere else at 10:30.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

It took me a month, a gazillion hours of time spent, many trips to the dealer, the use of three loaner vehicles to discover that a particular vehicle I Phone 4S charger was the root cause of turning on my tire pressure warning dashboard indicator light whenever I passed a cell tower.

Hooray for being under warranty. :ohno:

Sorry I haven't replied. I have yet to try taking the batteries out of the FOP. Been busy. I'm sure no one is playing a trick its not the alarm going off its just a quick 7 horn honks. The thing is it doesn't do it every not. Maybe only on a full moon lol. I'm going to take the battery out for 3 nights straight and see if that is the issue.
