Need some help

So my car was running fine until I was driving home today. I within a mile of my house and it started going nuts. When I press the accelerator, the rpms don't hold steady, instead they will drop off randomly. It even stalled on me when I was breaking and the rpms drop way low when at idle. Previously it ran fine and the idle was smooth at 750 rpms.

When I checked for codes, I got 12, 33 and 53. I cleaned the MAF a few months ago and both O2 sensors are new. I'm at a loss...

Maf probably failed, code 12

Yeah I'm looking into getting another one now. I pulled the connector on the MAF and then reconnected it and reset the codes. It started up and ran with no problems, I even drove it about 10 miles without issue.

Sounds about right, the hot wires on these things do burn out over time.

A little. But it could be on its way out and intermittently failing. Clear codes and check again?

I'll have to check codes again now that I've driven it all day. When it started acting weird I had a code 12 for sure.
