you can blow a fuse. now back to your original problem, if you have roll down windows, you're going to have to remove that handle, there are screws in the door handle, dont forget that you have to remove the handle bar on the door. if you look at your driver side door and your passenger door and notice the added handle, you'll see what im talking aboutFr0zEn wrote:I have a 89 240SX (S13) and I Have Sony Xplod 4x6. They sound awesome. I got the Drivers side one in. I was shocked when I noticed the Plug in the door was a plug. The speakers were + and - separated.
So I cut the plug off. stripped the wires. I wraped the + and - around the stripped wires. (they are not touching.) I the wraped then up the exposed wires with electrical tape so they would not touch. I dont know if I matched the up with + to + and - to -. if I had it wrong would they have still worked? and if I did it wrong hat the worst that can happen.
now to my problem.I got all the screws out of the Passenger door. including the handle. I then pulled the panel off starting one side to the other.
I could not get the panel off for some reason. it acted as if it was still screwed in at the handle bar on the bottom but I could not locate a screw on the bottom. How do I get this off?
it acts like its stuck in the middle of the door. and I aint about to go prying on the door to get it off. cause if it breaks. it can get expensive.
I know that there are questions in a question but do your best. lol. thanks in advanced for any help.
and I used the search only got the Drivers door panel removal.

I am purely puzzled, mainly because i havent had much sleep. When connecting your speakers, the negative(i believe) should fit on the small prong where you connect the wire on the new speaker, the positive on the big prong on the new speaker.Fr0zEn wrote:ok so I need to take the added door handle off the whole way. do I just pull up on it after I get the top of it out?
and roll down my windows. I will try again when I wake up tomorrow. I noticed when I installed the 1 speaker all the others got louder. When I play a Tape (I have MP3 Player and was low on cash to buy FM) lol. I play the tape I can barely hear my new speaker. I hear all my old ones just fine.
I figured if I put the + on the - then it would not work. correct me if I am wrong.
If you're in a hatch, just slip something underneath the break in plastic. It'll be RIGHT AFTER the speaker grill, NOT underneath the whole plastic trim. If you're running a stock deck, it might be the deck on whats making the static, its like 90% of them time your audio system sucksFr0zEn wrote: I have no idea how to get the rear hatch panels off. not only that but I can have the fix my front ones also.
