Alright, tried replacing the MAF connector on the Q this weekend. It has not been going very well. She'll turn over, but won't start. Here's my checklist:

1. Got gas.2. Battery's good.3. Wires are spliced and soldered correctly, and placed on the correct pins.4. Tried resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery.5. Checked the fuses for ECU and related hardware.6. Tried flooring the gas when starting.7. Fuel pump IS running.

I'm gonna end up having to take it to a mechanic, and I don't have too many options. Either my usual independent place, or the Nissan dealer in town. Any suggestions? Wes has been trying to help, but we haven't gotten anywhere so far.

So you replaced the MAF connector....

Maybe try another MAF sensor (borrowed), just to see if thats causing a problem, seeing as it's in the area you were working on before the starting issue.

Fuel filter, or lines, make sure the engines getting the gas the pump is pumping.

Update: She's at the mechanic now - looks like there's a good possibility I fried the MAF (hooking it up the wrong way? I was pretty sure I'd taken note of how they were hooked up, but who knows), so we've got one ordered. $74 with a 6 month warranty from a salvage yard in Rhode Island. <crosses fingers> If I had a garage, I'd be trying all this myself - but somehow, I just don't have the determination to do it in the cold, outdoors, in the dark after work.
