Need some help regarding gears

Hey guys i installed 3.5 gears a couple weeks ago. Im thinking that this was actually a 3.3 because i didnot feel any gains. I want to verify this without taking the pumpkin apart. Does anyone know the best way i could check this? It would be a great help. I want to know ASAP, so i can contact the seller.

Some info:After i installed the gears my rpms are exactly 2875 at 80mph. Im thinking that a 3.3 should get this.

Part numbers arent any help because the numbers on the pumpkin are just the case number.

Your gears are 3.3...thats the ratio and FD for the 5AT. 6MT is like 3100 at 80 mph..3.5 gears.

when you go from stock 3.34 to a 3.54 it's only about 5% steeper and may be tough to notice. I put the 3.9's(11%steeper) in mine, it was noticeable but not a BIG wow factor. To make you feel better, there is a site that will break down your rpm, you just have to input your trans gearing and FD ratio. I will look for the site!
