I have a blacktop SR (Yet to install.) and since Im replacing the head gasket, thought I would replace some other parts since Im in there. Here is what I have so far.*Apexi Head gasket*Greddy Valve Springs*Greddy Rocker Arm Stoppers.*ARP head studs. The cams Im looking at are the *BC Stage II (New)*HKS Step II (Used)I will be using a Megan Turbo manifold, T-28 Turbo (S14) and all your other basic upgrades, such as exhaust, down pipe, LW flywheel, Aluminum drive shaft, SARD 550 injectors, ect, ect Here is where I need your advice. Which of the 2 would be better? I read the Mega thread on cams, but was not much help. Im not a hard core drifter or Drag strip whore. Im looking for the best all around cam. Both cams I can pick up for just about the same price. I would like more bottom end then top end. I've read were people say that the BC cams have a nice bump at idle. Is this true? How about the HKS cams? I can get the BC cams new for about $300.00 and the HKS cams will cost me about $250.00 plus my stock cams. Which cams would you suggest out of the 2 brands? If you need for info on my motor set up, please let me know. Thanks for your help.....
