Need some help on brake pads and air intake

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Newbie to the forums here and this place is awesome. I just bought the Brembo cross drilled rotors as replacements for the OEM rotors on my 2000 G20t. Does anyone have recommendations as to what pads to run with these? I drive the car pretty hard and want good stopping power but I do commute and don't want anything that will be really noisy. I would prefer to go with something other than OEM to take advantage of the new rotors.

I am also looking for a cold air intake for the car but haven't had a lot of luck finding one for the car. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for all the help.

HAWK has a good pad. Some like the EBC as well. AS far as intakes, you could go with HS, Injen, AEM. The all make CAI for the sr motor. A nice header would be up next on the list.

Hawk HPS would be right up your alley. I have them on Brembo slotted rotors and have all the stop I could ever need and then some, even with the turbo. Make sure to bed them as per the instructions on the box, especially with those new rotors.

I loved my Injen CAI when I had it. But, as RED said, any of those three brands is always a good bet. I'd go for whichever one you can find a good price on right now. If they're all the same price, go for whatever looks nice to you, as the gains and sounds are all the same.

I'll check out the Hawk pads. I've been looking for the CAI that you guys have recommended but the only one that I can ever find for my car is the Stillen one. I'm looking for something that isn't extremely difficult to bolt on but nothing is coming up. Can I use the same one as the Sentra SE? Thanks for the help, total newbie at this.

The 2000-2001 Sentra SE unit will fit your car. Just modify the instructions to your car. The intake setup is essentially the same for the B15 Sentra as the P11 G20. Your filter may hang slightly higher or lower in the spot behind the bumper, but that doesn't make much difference.

Note that you're going to have to widen the hole in the front corner to get the bigger pipe in where your resonator was. That's true for Sentras as well, not just G20-specific.
