First of all, Hello Altima peeps! I am from the 300zx forum and have a question for you guys/gals.

My girlfriend is in the market for an Altima, and we found a 2006 SE-R with 46,000 miles and a clean title. the interior is a bit dirty and leather is a bit scuffed up. The body looks very good. What would be a reasonable price to pay for this car?

Thanks in advance NICO! :dblthumb:

I'm just gonna plug in your info with KBB and edmunds.com... is it a manual or auto?

Actually either makes no difference. If it's in exceptional condition, avg dealer retail is around $19k. Helluva car for that money if it's in good shape! Good luck!

Carfax is only as good as the people that report to it - but in your case, since they're asking for that little for it, I'd run one. It'll pull up if the vehicle has had a salvaged title or been officially reported for any accidents, thefts, etc.

If you're gonna be looking into several used cars, i'd highly recommend paying the $30-ish for the unlimited reports for 3 months. Get the VIN from the SE-R and run that sucker. If the carfax comes back clean and you're comfortable with the car after giving it a thorough inspection, go for it!

Wow thats a low price. Make sure its worth it and there aren't any issues, other than that great price.
