ok i have had this problem for a while and i think i have figured out what it is. in the first picture of me pinching the tube with a pair of plyers is how i can make my idle lower. i heard if you have a bad (i dont know what it is called but it is in the second pic) ? it will mess up your idle. i need to know what that gold round thing is called in the 2nd pic. it is bolted to the back of the intake mani. and the hose i pinched with the plyers runs into it. the hose i pinched is the second hose that runs into the stock intake tubing and i think this is what is wrong with my idle. this sounds really stupid but if i knew what they part names were it would make explaining this a whole lot easier. thank you for any help.

The gold thing is called Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) valve.

I believe what causing the high idle is the air regulator circuit, I am not sure if 12V version has one or not.I am not familiar KA 12V.

yeah, air regulator is a common fault on older nissans. not sure about that one though.
