im running my sr without the thermostat. would this do any damage(s) to my engine? is this the cause why my engine's idle is at 1000-1500rpm all the time? where is the coolant temp sensor located at?

Your EFI will run rich longer and your gas mileage will be horrible.

so THATS why my gas mileage was no bad. its that thermostat. does it really make much of a difference? and what the EFI anyways?

don't be cheap man, just go online and buy thermostat from courtesyparts for $10-30. don't blow your sr motor. know how these engine cost this day.
