so im trying to figure out it i would be better if i change my set up to a td04/5 (?) from my t28 n was wondering if anybody has done it n what was the results.. so far my setup is this: bottom mount t25/28 manifolds14 t28braided lines370 injectors from sr3" catback exhaustethelapy ecufmic with 2.5 piping walpro fuel pumpngk plugs n cables

i know i have to change the lines, and as far as the manifold i can weld an adapter/modified it to fit . but would it be worth it changing turbos n what turbo would yall guys recomend for my set up that i have now. i mean whats really the diffence between both.

Changing to a TD05 wouldnt be a bad move. Your turbo setup coming out of that t2 flange would be good till around 350. The t2 flange is still a restriction to flow so you dont want to push it much more than that.

Honestly its not really worth the effort IMO. The s14 t28 is a fine turbo, your really swapping one small turbo for another small turbo. A lot of work for not a lot of bang. A TD06 might be worth it, but your still limited by the t2 flange.

Just save your cash up for a topmount setup with a t3 flange. t3/t4 50 trim .63 ar should be your next goal. Thats a really nice setup for a Ka.

You're better off doing a GT2871R upgrade instead of a T3 series turbo. T3 = new manifold, new lines, new elbow at the very least.
