I am not sure if this is against rules but I am trying to install power folding mirrors on a USDM Q45, this will be a first for NICO.

But the switch I need is over in Japan and I found it for $30 on Yahoo.co.jp but I am in America and I have no way of buying it because the way the auction is set up.

I really really need this switch and I know I have asked NICO (The Q45 section) for a lot, And I have tried to make up what I owe but this switch would be like the holy grail to me if I had it.

The switch looks like this:

I can Paypal you the money and I will even cover the 3% fee I just need this switch. Please email me for the link to it. I don't want to post the link then have someone else buy it and make this work.

Please please help me just this once and I will never ask for another JDM goodie again.

Remember, you will need the specific plug/loom for it to work, or be willing to do a fair bit of custom wiring.(Plus the actual folding mirrors themselves!)

Good luck

I need the same mirror base (Q45-President) otherwise I would install 300ZX mirrors.

Yea but are yours set up to the Auto Driver postioner so that when you put the key in the ignition the seat comes forward, steering wheel comes down and mirrors go out?

I don't need the harness just the harness just the switch. I plan to use that switch face on a 1990-1993 Q45 circuit board. Thats switch shown will only fit a 1994-1996 Q45.

So can anyone help me out I am willing to do what ever it take to get it.

i don't want power seats because it would be too much weight in my tyte street car, yo. actually, i thought about wiring it to the ignition so they would close when i turned the car off and open when i turned it on, but i didn't want to risk burning the motors out too soon.

Try googling

yahoo.jp auction proxy service orhttp://www.rinkya.com/

Proceed at your own risk.

I've never used either and didn't want my mentioning them to be perceived as an endorsement of reliability.

So there is no one that can help me out?

The item cost is 2800 Yen and I am willing to pay that plus the 3% Paypal fee, shipping and I will pay the person that helps me get it $10. Is that fair?

Or I can send you some Q45 parts that are not for public sale, You pay the shipping though, But you name it and you got it.

This will be the first Q45 with power folding heated mirrors and I will post my work with pictures video....on NICO.

Okay clearly nobody wants to help. But if someone with a Yahoo.co.jp account can ask this one simple questions to the seller I will let it go, Please email me for the question and link to auction.

Tried BidJDM?

Also, I would suggest hollering at Mike (TMS) but I don't want to volunteer him for anything. You'll have to handle the diplomatic stuff on your own.

Seriously, dude where did you find the parts to do that? I so want that, beats having to walk around the car to push the passenger side mirror in.

S13, S14, I30.... mirrors are stupid easy to find on Ebay.

Never even knew about BidJDM.

But chances are TMS saw this topic and never responded because he wants no part.

I will still try him. I am not a scammer or anything and I have some people from the Q45 section that can attest to that.

Yeah when you have near 5000 posts on an online forum like this you long ago lost the luxury (alliteration, heh) of being able to be sketchy. If you were to scam someone Greg would be outside your door in 20 minutes with a bat.

Plus, custom title for extra credibility.

Could also be that he's busy workin and studying...

I saw it too, and would like to help, but I don't have a yahoo.co.jp account, nor do I have an online bank account to pay for it. The wife has one, but I did something like this once for a friend and she had to go through so much hassle with everything and asked me not to do it again.

Sorry, man. Would like to help, but just don't have the ability.

I can ask the wife, but I can't make any promises.

I'll e-mail you so you can get my address. I don't keep my address in my profile for obvious reasons.

My friend just got back to Okinawa (he is in the marines), he comes across these JDM parts from time to time...

I'll pass the word on to him and see if we can get you what you need.

Also, would need to know what you'd be willing to pay for this item. The auction is now at 2800 yen, which is a little bit over $30.
