I have searched the forum and still have some questions. I want to know what boost controllers you guys suggest. I am leaning towards the apexi but have heard that some people think it is complex and that it is not really needed. (I love complex tho) Is the apexi worth the money or will the blitz be fine. I plan to go to the track (1/4 and Roadcourse). The apexi seems to be more adjustable then the blitz, but I could be wrong. I have read all the docs on both controllers but I need to hear from people that use them for racing on the track where it is more needed then just going to Taco Bell. My price range is around $470 or so. Please help me decide which one or if you have another one that you would suggest.

My setup is s14 sr20 with full 3inch from turbo outlet back, HPI intercooler and KMD manifold, plus other stuff..

Thanks, Marcus :ylsuper

assuming you are talking of a boost controller. I have heard great thinks about the Greddy Profec-B boost controler. I is really easy to use and is very good at eliminating boost spike. I think they are like $330

Profec B for boost under 1.5 bar and Blitz SP iD for 2.0 bar and under.

if you drag race, get the apexi....

if you dont, and you want to save some bucks, get a profec B.

they are both good, the apexi allows you to set boost for diff. rpm points, which will benefit your 'lauch' at the 1/4...

He said he likes complex in his first post.

Also, although I've never used it, my friend has the new Profec E-01 on his WRX and he likes it alot. Of everything I've read about it, I haven't seen anything negative said about it yet.I know your budget is $470, but you can pick up the e-01 for about $30 more.

Also, if you ever decide to get a fuel/ignition controller the e-manage plugs right into the e-01 and you can make all the adjustments from the same screen! No need for a laptop!

DonDonati88 that was funny with the :cuddle...LOL LOL

Anyways, I have started to look at the greddy Profec E-01 and now I have even more choices to choose from. Well off to due some more research. I am having a hard time finding people who have used these controllers and the their likes and dislikes of each controller.

Thanks again, Marcus

of course there are people here who use manual boost controllers, but the thing is, you can't program a manual boost controler and the electronic boost controllers let you set the boost from inside the car.

I am using the HKS adjustable wastegate actuator as my boost controller until I can finally make up my mind and decide which electronic one I wanna go with.

It only cost $55 and holds boost rock steady up to 16 psi, which is plenty for the stock t25.
