Need Some Help...Car wont start.

Hey guys,Well long story short is my car will not start. We have checked fuel and it is going, The problem I am having is spark. The car is turning over, but no spark. I have replaced the Ignition Coil, Distributor, and Spark plugs were new. Still no spark is getting to the ignition coil, its not arching at all. My Boss at Nissan ( where i used to work and will work this summer) has told me that the motor sounds like it jumped timing. I do not know, but I wondered if there is anything else that possibly could be that I have done wrong.

Just for a background story, I bought the car and it had a dead battery, so we jumped it off for me to test drive. It ran just fine, had no exhaust so it was really loud, but ran never the less. It started plenty of times. So i got it towed to Nissan only because it had an overheating problem the guy said and he said it was probably the thermostat. So i bought a new battery started it and it was fine. I had to wait to pull it in the shop for around 2 hours. When I came back in 2 hours just cranked...no fire. Then when we pushed it in and looked at it I was getting everything but spark. I have replaced what i said above and still I dont know...

Check for loose grounds. Have you checked all the fuses?

Actually thats one thing I forgot to mention we also did, yes we checked all fuses at nissan and the mechanic said he didnt even no...im thinking it prob is just a wire, b/c it started and ran fine and then all of a sudden quit after running it once on a new battery...I am going to check the timing chain tom. just to see if my boss is right.

Any other suggestions guys? having a hard time with this really want it to run
