Need some help...car not starting at all......

Hey guys i need some help quick. havent driven my car for the past 2 days. so today i got in to go for a drive and 1st problem started

i couldn't turn the key b/c the lil push button got stuck....and i mean stuck. i tried for about 5 mins then finally mover a small 2 degrees, which at this point it was still locked into the off position. so after trying for a lil bit more and pulling hte the lil button with some vice grips. well finally broke loose and got it to turn to battery power. so i went to start the car and nothing. and i had had this problem before and i found it it was the starter b/c it would makes a funny sound. well eventually that went away and it starterd fine.....well this time nothing. no funny ticks clicks or anything....complete silence. wtf. so i wack at the solenoid for a min check the fuse. try again and nothing still.

can anyone tell me wtf is wrong and what i need to change. I was planning on leaving for nopi in the morning with my team but now im not so sure. bigg fuk waste of 90 bucks i think not.

please i really need ur guys help.

well if its a completely dead starter, it of course wont start even if its being tapped. swap it out and try again. while youre at the auto parts, have them test your battery just for kicks.

if your ign switch was locked up like that, it could mean further problems in that area. check it out more thoroughly.

probably the ignition switch is bad. ive had that happen on a car before. had to hotwire it until i got the ignition switch

do you still have radio power? just wondering because i have a similar problem.

grab the trigger wire off the starter and hook up a voltmeter, if u turn the key and its gettin 12v, its not the switch
