Hello,

I am looking into getting a used G35 Sedan but I am a first time car buyer (at a dealer). I found a used 2004 G35 Sedan with only 1k mi on her and one owner. Here are the details:

6 disc changer. Very clean interior! Shows great. One owner. Premium package. - V6 3.5 Liter; Automatic; RWD; Air Conditioning; Power Steering; Power Windows; Power Door Locks; Tilt Wheel; Cruise Control; AM/FM Stereo; Cassette; Multi Compact Disc; Dual Front Air Bags; Front Side Air Bags; ABS (4-Wheel); Traction Control; Leather; Moon Roof; Alloy Wheels

Price is $25,995.

Does this seem right? I mean an 04 w/ ONLY 1k miles? I ask because the dealer has a few other G35s for about the same price:

2004 G35 w/ 53k miles...$24,9952005 G35 w/ 20.5k miles...$26,995

I find it kind of odd that a same year G35 with over 50 times the mileage only costs 1k less than the one i want.

What do you guys think? Thanks for all the help

If you are interested in this one, you can ask the dealer to call the prior owner to see if it's OK for you to call them to discuss why the mileage is so low.

I bought my 05 sedan NEW almost 2 years ago for just over $27KIt was a left over. There may be some 06 leftovers that you might get a great deal on. I would call around.

Well here is my $.02

This is an excellent time of the year to begin a search for a new vehicle. Why take a chance of spending $27k for a used vehicle that could possibly be trouble when by spending lets say $10k more you will have a brand new vehicle with a warranty. $10,000 more divided by 10 years = $1000 per year.Try to time your new car purchase for late December. Dealers are especially hungry on Christmas and New Years eve. I bought my 06 G35 Sedan on December 31st 2005 and got a great deal

You've financed a car for 10 years??? That G35 will cost over 50 grand with that note.
