I'm dying for something harder, all the stuff I have is pretty soft and my mood just ain't feelin it. I'm sure you all know how it is, kinda pissed, wanna drop a cd in there, crank up the volume, and drive it like you stole it. It seems I do that and then BANG, the music just isn't cutting it. damn emotional rollercoasters. HELP!

Angry?

Napalm Death....

I promise NOTHING will feel better than the 'ol ND! I'm not a huge fan, but when I'm in "that" mood.... they are exactly what I need.

In terms of "GOOD" angry music:

Any "hard" music with the voice of a 13 year old boy needs to get the hell out. If a man wanted to listen to what punk/emo kids considered "hardcore," they'd go buy a Good Charlotte CD.

Try on some Static-X for size, specifically "Get to the Gone." ;)

the only good emo style music i've heard is Grandaddy. and they sound nothing like those moronic "emo/punk" bands you hear 24/7 on the local alternative station.

my newest hardcore band is hopesfall. theyre really great. along with the older stuff ive been listening to Dillinger escape plan. thrice i guess is semi-hardcore, youll like it if you like a bit of melody with your screaming.

but lately ive been listening to Oldies: motown, rock, and blues. with some mixed in Coheed and Cambria.

Coheed is hard stuff? Please.

They're an awesome band, but they aren't exactly what I call hard.

if you want heavy, get some At the Gates, In flames, Decide, Acker Cok, King Diamond, Cannibal Corpse, The Haunted Dimmu Borgir, etc. if you want heavy lyics, get some C/S/N, or Johnny Cash.
