:help OK here we go again,other than this being a reliable car it still occasionally has some problems and I cannot find a service manual for it,so I'll ask here.
Car goes over bumps and I hear a creaking sound.I assumed Struts so I ordered them from a site here that was suggested by some other members.The Temp control is not displayed anymore unless I bang on it and now it doesnt turn on at all.
The odometer I see the light but it never displays anything..
Broke that little fragile thing to open the sunroof now its permanantly closed.Power mirrors do not work at all.Any help is greatly appreciated I would rather do it all myself because it NYC so it cost a lot more here than anywhere..

Creaking sound is probably upper links or tie rods in front suspension. Struts don't make noise, car just gets bouncy over bumps. But good to replace everything at once anyways.

Trip odometer (digital) or main odometer?? The bulbs can burn out behind the digital display. The main odometer can stop working (mine works sporadically).
That's a start....... how many miles on the car?

NYC - Also check upper links and tension rods (freuently dead by now).
Fred probably has the sunroof switch assembly on his "parts Q", email him (PalmerWMD).
Power mirrors could just be a fuse, but I'd have to check the manual... I'll keep an eye out for a FSM for your car (I just sold my last one).

My sunroof switch is broken too. What Im going to do, after I do chain guides, power steering, brakes, and other more important things, is replace the entire switch console. I'll be calling some junkyards around the country. You'll notice that its easy to remove and pops right off. Takes about 1 minute to replace.

Hey NYC I'm here in Queens if you need some guidance as well. Messing with these Q geniuses helps alot. NYC can be a bad place for any car. That noise is 90% leaning towards your u-joints (upper links). I had the same problem last year. This car is rock solid reliable although 91 had some issues. Hit me up. Peace.
