Need some feedback on this double din

i know this prob should go in the audio video section but i need some quick feedback because i misght pull the trigger on this double din, i like the oem look so thats the main reason this stands out to me, im just worried about the quality of this. So what do u guys think?

seems like one of those headunits that vw-er's love to use to replace their oem headunits. my bet is that it'll probably be okay for the money, highly customizable, which is a double edge sword. i had a friend who bought one for his jetta and messed something up and his nav stopped working until i fixed it for him.

for 600 u could probably buy any more well known double din head unit, then buy the factory trim piece for your car to make it look "factory". if you're not adventurous that's what i'd recommend you do. This is an example of a double din w/ the trim piece. there are threads w/ more pics from ppl.

yea i know they have the oem looking kits but i like how this one has knobs and looks like the stock nav somewhat

I'd like to see some photos of the GPS in use. That's most likely one of the Chinese units mounted up to look pretty. Notice that they don't tell you what you're getting as far as mapping software.

I don't have a lot of experience with the stock nissan unit but it looks like what you find here:

For the money I say take the plunge. PM me and I can help you out setting it up. I've got tons of experience with the windows CE based units. I haven't setup one of these before but I've done tons of the Chinese units. When configured right they're great.
