ok, i bought my 240 from a friend.. and they installed a P.O.S cd player that barely even works. well, i look around for a new player, but i find that most cd players [at least the cool ones] are too big to fit in the console. anyone recommend a cd player that WILL fit in there?? thanks

What do you mean too big. A din or double din will fit fine. If you mean fit plush with the bezel then all you have to do is remove the 2 brakets that support the stock radio. A 10mm socket should do it.

there are plenty of cd players out there that look cool and will fit in your dash just go to your local car audio shop and find one that has the features that you want and is in the price range that you have to spend let the salesman/woman show you what they have to offer and also check around at all shops and go with the shop that has the best prices and service (best does not mean cheapest)

I in fact am selling a CD player!!!!! It's a Pioneer Premier 740. I believe its 55Wx4, has 3 sets of preouts, the easy eq feature and a bunch of other junk. I can check on anything you want me to as it is sitting up in my room in its box with the booklet. I only had it for about 2 months where it was not abused one bit. I payed $450 for it new (still have the reciept) and I'd be willing to let it go for somewhere around $300. It is a great deck...i owned a pioneer premier 640 for over a year before that. I sold it for cash and really missed it, hence buying the 740. But now i need the money again. Gimme an email if you are interested (i also have an amp some speakers and rca's for sale) :)
