You should do a little search. Just type in AEM, there's tons of topics that cover this. Agreed on the Y-pipe!

You say. I have it on my coupe and love it. The sound is awesome and I like the look of it much more than the other intakes on the market.

it's overpriced. A cheap fujita short ram intake would be money better spent and would give almost same gain and would sound awesome. With the money left over he could buy a y-pipe and have even better gains

So why don't we all just throw away our aftermarket intakes then...apparently this Y-Pipe is going to be a GOD MOD...

Maybe some people want to keep their cars emissions legal...

Maybe someone wanted an opinion on INTAKES (I do see you actually answered the question a couple posts later...)

Telling someone to buy something completely unrelated to the question is a waste of time and space. Why don't you tell him to save his money for a turbo? It's only a few thousand more...but it would be AWESOME.

Not everyone wants to put the "cheapest" parts on their car. I wanted it because it looks diffeerent than the other intakes out there. I build my car to my taste and liking, not what everyone else has or likes. Alot of people on here didn't want it, mostly because they were whinning about the cost. I also think that it's closer to an actual CAI than the Injen or Fujita. Why did you pay all that money for your rims? You could have gotten rims alot cheaper that did the same job. People have different tastes. I say if he likes the look and doesn't mind paying more for it, then get it.

not everyone wants the priciest parts on their cars either. glad you bought the AEM intake. i'm really happy you like it.

i'm not telling that intakes are useless i'm just saying they all basiclly give the same gains so buying the cheapest fujita one is the best bang for the buck. plus it looks REALLY good. so why waste the money on one that is priciers. my point was that for the money saved on the priciest intake you can buy the fujita one and still have money for other cool mods. and yeah the best bang for the buck is just to save up until you have enough for turbo and go all out lool.

Mehdi (its so hard to call you that, i prefer mendi lol)....

Alien has a point on your wheels, you are trying to sell them used for more than I bought my 20s NEW! Where was the bang for the buck there???

Im truly the value shopper as far as parts are concerned, and IMO the fujita may be a better bang for buck, but then again i think my 2.5 is a better bang for buck than the 3.5!

Its all a matter of how you look at things and the money you are willing to contribute tward it...

IMO I dont think there will be any significant difference over any of the other intakes but to each his own!

btw my rims are pretty cheap lol, they only weight about 23lbs for 19s and are on the cutting edge in terms of wheel strenth. it's not only for looks it a timeattack light weight rim. point is that it's not only cosmetic and that IS the price to pay for light weight strong 19inchers.

btw they are still for sale zerothread?id=397966
