need some advise about power seats

i recently changed out my seats with some new ones that have a different connector than the one I had .. the new ones are heated the old ones werent.. the connetors dont match up. Im sure i ll have to slice them and do away with the connector , but what color wire goes to what.. or do i just unhook yhe battery and give it a shot.. any help will do.. thanks...the connectors on the seats have 3 wires .. the connectors coming srom the body has 2
