Hello everyone i'm new to the forum. Lately my friends urges me to get some kick *** headlights for my G, i've looked into the Oracle products made by AAC. i've been researching how much the Oracle HID headlights, Oracle Halo rings plus professional installation would cost me, it turns out is probably gonna cost me around $1300 if i get it done professionally, about half if i do it myself. since i'm a retard and nothing good happens to me when i'm working on a car i probably shouldn't even think about doing it myself. Anyone got any advices on whether i should get them lights or save the money and get something else done. please give some valuable advices. thanks everyone

Um let's see, OK, welcome to Nico!!!

Regarding the Headlights, I would go out and buy a nitrous kit, and get it installed for that price. I think you could find several things that would compliment your ride nicely.

I would say get the pop charger, Z-tube $200, Blox spacer $90(or any aftermarket intake)A full catback exhaust $700-900, and some clear corners - $20 on ebay.

You'll still have some breathing room to buy some tint at the auto parts store and lay it over your headlights Well, use your own discression.... Warm welcome

$1300 for headlights, when you already have HID lights??? Screw that. Buy some "go fast" parts. They'll make you happier.

If you're really wanting to play with the lights, I have a set of stock HID's from an 04 sitting in my attic. You can have them for $100+ shipping.

Welcome to nico

As they said just get the go fast parts. Will make you happier than a 1300 bux light upgrade.

All depends on how much $$ you are willing to spend.

Give us your range.

Volk & Rays are good quality but expensive. MRR are actually a really good price and quality combo.

I have Stern ST-1's.

You'll likely get pulled over by the cops for what they can see more than what they can't. Self control is always an option, covering up illegal tint, headlights or anything else a cop "thinks" is illegal isn't an option.

$1300 for modded headlights is a big ouch.

Keep the wheels light weight or you'll regret it the first time you take your G out

We've been there. I remeber when I bought my first car. Actually second first was just to take me from a-b and after few months I got the itch to buy a hotrod. I paid for it 2 damn years and 1 more year pay just to costumize it. From that point I like to save money first and buy something. It just feels lot better that way.

Nobody will or should look down to you for being smart enough to save money and buy instead of other way around.

Most of these mods are simple to do it yourself. Some may need a little more knowledge. But even that you might be able to get somebody to help you who lives around you.

Enjoy your ride.
