My motors #3 clylinder, has low compression and the injecotor o -ring broke and black fuel is leaking from the exhaust.. I may just buy a used KA24DE, or is there a way to check if it may just be the piston seal or somthing of this nature??

Some reasons your #3 cylinder having low compression could be a broken head gasket, or maybe a crack in the cylinder. The black fuel leaking from the exhaust could be a stuck exhaust valve letting uncombusted fuel leak out through your exhaust. If I was in your situation I would check the head gasket, block, pistons, injectors, and valvetrain before I bought a whole other engine.

If I made any mistakes, anyone feel free to correct me.

Well ive taken the car to a shop before because this happened before with the injector, and they just unbolted the exhaust and drained it and it was fine afterwards. This is probably what I will attempt to do tomorrow. Im not mechanically inclined to do all those things that you listed, do you have any idea how much a shop would charge to have those things checked? Thanks, also how is it to unbolt the cat or wherever so I can drain the gas?

I don't really know how much a shop would charge for anything like that, I've always done things myself. I'm pretty sure there are two bolts on each side of the converter. Im guessing they unbolted the cat from the front tube, so all you would have to do is remove a heat shield, 2 bolts connecting the converter to the front tube and 2 bolts connecting the converter to the center pipe. Exhaust bolts can be tricky with all the rust and dirt down there, so soaking it with some penetrating fluid like CRC first might help you out. Try not to strip the bolt heads or nuts off, thats a b****. Good luck man, let me know how it goes.
