Ok, I know I've seen this question answered somewhere else in the forum, but I just can't seem to find it again by searching. Sorry if this is repetitive, but maybe someone can help me out.

I'm about to take my 94 J30 in to the shop to have the timing belt and timing belt tensioner replaced. What other things should I have the mechanic check and/or replace while he's in there? I know the water pump seems an obvious one, but beyond that, I'm really not sure. I'd like to be able to go in and say "do this, this, this..." and get it all done while he's charging me the labor for pulling the engine apart.

Thanks for the help.

Belt, tensioner, water pump, thermastat, cam seals, drive belts, hoses. Have them check all, definately replace the tensioner when you change the timing belt.

Cool. That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.
