I don't recommend the red tops at all. They are starting batteries so they are not designed to handle discharges well. I've gone through 3 red tops in one car before I switched to a blue top. that particular battery lasted me through the rest of that cars life (A couple of years) and 4 more years in another car including several near full discharges. I installed one now in the Titan a few months ago.
Starting batteries in general have more CCA's for a given size, but deep cycle batteries like the blue and yellow top optimas can handle discharges, recover completely and charge faster. Discharging a starting battery will diminish capacity depending on how much you discharge it by and how many times. Deep cycles tend to have a bit less CCA's, but should be strong enough to handle general starting applications just fine.
Blue and Yellow top optimas are the same for their respective sizes(both are deep cycle), only blue tops have marine terminals. The marine terminals are actually a nice feature as you can use it to wire an amp directly to it without splicing into the factory wiring. Though the G35 does have an extra stud that you can tie into on the terminal block as well.
