what to do, what to do.

i blew up the ka again, slipped rod bearing. *not my fault* the guy i bought it from, put it back together wrong and the rod cap on cyl 4 was on backwards...

anyway. i just had the head to a machinist, completely rebuilt - $185had the intake to the machinist to be cleaned $20new #4 piston and rod $50new rod bearing setnew main bearing setnew gasket, seals, hoses, lines, new knock sensor.timing at 20º -- checked with timing lghtNGK iridium Plugs with < 5k miles89 octane, used regulalry

and the ***** still knocks!

i just dont know what else to fix to stop this knock. its all in time, the cams are perfect, its well oiled, it starts fine, runs fine, just knocks like hell.

should i A) keep searching for a solution or B) sell the entire KA2DE setup(motor, ecu, harness, transmission, EVERYTHING) and swap in something else with the money i get saved$$?

**note option b is kinda hard to accomplish since im poor**

What heat range are the plugs? Almost all the Iridiums I see are a 5. Try just some normal $3 copper plugs in the 6 heat range.
