I'm about to buy a new g37 journey and am torn on the sport package. Most reviewers say it makes a border line stiff car too stiff. We're coming out of an 07 350z so are looking for quiet comfort. The seats aren't too much of an issue because we're both normal size. I drove them both last week but with the salesman on short drives, it was hard to tell much difference. I did notice more road noise on the highway than what I expected on both models. Do any sport option owners regret your choice?

It's a great package for the money.Just for the Bigger brakes, and Limited slip differential alone.
I softened the ride on Mine a little,by installing 17" wheels and tires from a non sport model.
I save the 18"s for special occasions.

I liked the tightness of the S model's suspension!!
Just didn't like the seats.
Would think coming from a 350 that even the S model would be more forgiving that what you have.
Good Luck!!

I love it on my 09 G37S sedan! The suspension is tight, but not overly stiff. The seats are OK...still getting used to them on long trips. The brake upgrade is definitely worth it!!

I found the seats to be extremely uncomfortable. I loved how the car rode, but just could not stand the seat..

I also see an option for some 18 wheels only in a 7 spoke for $500, but I don't see any pics of the wheels, anyone know what they look like? I wonder if they would change the ride of a non-s journey much?

Test drive cars with and without the sport package over roads you routinely drive. That should tell you what you need to know.

The sport package is standard on the manual transmission cars (G37S). I find mine to be almost, but not quite, too stiff. It helps that I don't have to drive on really rough city streets. The G37's long wheelbase helps, too. Two summers ago, we drove ours to and from Colorado on vacation. 650 miles in a day each way without major fatigue.
