Hi have a 1991 240sx se hatch. As of now I took out the interior from driver seat all the way back, except speakers and wires. What I want to know is what is needed to install some sparcos seat= Im leaning towards the fighter(just for driver side for now). If possible a list of what I need. I plan to do it my self not to save money but to learn something new. So far what I think is needed besides the seat and 2inch 4point blt in are: bracket to hold the seats into my s13, passenger lower cage, and to some fabrication like drilling holes for the blt in. As I pointed out those things I am a complete newbie and Im still having the questions above my head on this. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

What you need

1. Seats

2. Seat side mounts for your fighter bucket. Get low profile rails. Bride or Nagisa auto will do. Unless you like sitting super high.

3. Optional - sliders.

4. Optional - harnesses. Some manafacturers (like willans and sparco) sell harnesses (2 to 2, 2 to 1) that will have a detachable rear strap. This strap can be setup to attach to a custom mount you make, or an existing mount. Some straps even can clip to rear seatbelt clips. Check out sparco's site and look thru the various options to see what I mean.

5. Optional - no harnesses. You would need to take the seatbelt clip off your old seat, and mount it to the seat mount. There are kits for stuff like this.

Final Note: What you are talking about is "legal" in some places but not in others. But dont expect every cop to know that. They will see your setup, and you will surely get hassled. Please dont expect to get off on technicalities b/c that will just provoke him/her.

hoped that helped.
