To be honest, you would probably just want to get a car down south. Northern cars are all rusty, and anything that age is going to have it regardless of how little it was driven in the snow.
You need to get something from down south, where the roads are smooth and the winters are mild. Aaaah Dixieland. Yoouuu are sooo gooood to meeee!
White tail buck deer, munchin' on cloverRed tailed hawk, sitting on a railChubby 'ol groundhog, croakin' bullfrogFree as a feelin' in the windHome grown country girl,Gonna give me a whirlOn a Tennessee Saturday nightCouldn't feel better, I'm togetherWith my Dixieland delight
Which is exactly why you don't need to be buying a northern car. That and you'll be shelling out at least half the price of the car:
a: Driving something capable of towing a car/trailer to Ann Arbor Michigan and back, and
b: Towing a trailer to Michigan and then a car and trailer back from Michigan to Tennessee with such a vehicle.
Because your gas mileage is going to suck, even when you are unladen. I don't know if you know how crappy your gas mileage is when towing a car + trailer on the interstate, but let me tell you it is pretty much garbage.
