Hi,I'm Ray I'm in the market for a 240, I'm daily driving a lowered 05 accord right now and have owned 3 mustangs including a 93 notch back mustang I have right now. Today I found a 240 a guy at work is selling for 1400$ this car will not be daily driven. It does in fact have 220,000 miles on it but from what I can tell just looking at it there isn't really any rust I will be rebuilding it but was just wondering if the shell itself with that many miles would be worth it? The car does still run and isn't really beat to hell the car seems to be sitting fine too doesn't look like he was riding around on blown shocks and struts. Sorry for like wall of text.

Do you have any pictures of the said car? The price isn't bad if the car is in good shop for the most part. What year is it? Fastback or coupe? Any other details?

I'm assuming it is somewhere between the 80's to 93. It's a fast back, it has the non turbo duel overhead cam motor in it. I'm not concerned really about the motor it will be swapped as far as the body a buddy of mine told me to check the rocker panels ,strut towers and all that good stuff. I going to try and get a few pictures this afternoon at work. And I'll post them up today. Thanks for the response.

It's most likely a 91-93 then. Definitely post up the pictures when you can!

It could be the lighting, but I would definitely check for body damage underneath and behind things. The driver side door looks like a different color than the rear quarter panel. Again, could be the lighting. Definitely pull up the hatch carpet to check for rust and body wrinkles from impact. Check the frame rails and around the hatch area in general. Also the fender wells. If everything checks out, the car looks pretty clean.
