I'm looking for a program that will allow me to make a slideshow and burn it to a dvd for free. I'm not having a whole lot of luck finding one at the moment. Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated

I have always used:

for computers... just straight dump the pictures in the dvd in the order you like... and use windows photo viewer.

For tvs/dvd projections.. I would use a progam called Windows movie maker, it lets you slide show images and have custom music tied to it. If you get too big in video size, I recommend dling xvid codec and use it's video compressor. Once you make the movie.. just burn it on the dvd...

both are damn simple to use and most windows should have both of those programs...my windows 7 didn't come with it, but my Vista did...

Info of movie maker

Let's you edit frame by frame, speed, text and audio...on time narration bases... in a basic level. You can import both images and videos to use in the making.

Windows Movie Maker 2.6:

Turns out since ME Windows Movie maker was included. But Win 7 doesn't, it's now integrated as a Windows Live download.

You need to save it as a DV AVI - NTSC..

then left your default dvd program do the burning

I never have experimented with window's media player, but it too has a dvd burn option..

I know what windows movie maker is i've used it multitudes of times, when i had vista, Now for win 7 it's called windows Live movie make ( don't download it it's utter s*** and hard to work with )i love the simple design on wmm, place your pics, place your music then if you want add subtitles titles.all in all it's a very straight forward program to use.
