A clutch slave cylinder can be bought from your local nissan dealership, just get one from a ka24de. I don't think it is something you would want to buy used considering they don't really cost that much brand new.

Slave Cylinder Only $40 new, they can probably get it to you fast too. Or pay a little more and go through your local dealer.

thanks guys, so it has to be from a ka24de? not a ka24e. right?

Someone said the KA(maybe only the single cam) used a 11/16" bore and the SR uses the 3/4" bore. I need to get a new slave cylinder also, mines leaking and making the clutch all spongy.

Does anyone know where to pickup an inexpensive steel braided clutch line also?

I got my SS line from takamotorsports. Very good "earls" quality.

I got my steel braided line from P2M for 40. It is an Earl's line so it is good quality. As far as slave cylinders, the bore size is different like Luke mentioned but they both bolt on.

I bought my slave cylinder brand new from oreily auto parts for $14.99. Considering how simple a slave cylinder is Im not worried at all about the low price meaning low quality.

well "brand new" is very relative... cuz i know that alot of those places like discount auto, carquest and i don't know about oreily auto, but anyways they sell remanufactured parts. They are old parts that broke and they fixed what was wrong with them but thats it, there's no telling what WILL go wrong with them in the near future cuz they didn't take that into account.Better to go with OEM quality, its known to last, and you pay a little bit more, but it makes up for it in the long run. You don't have to keep buying inferior parts every yearjust my opinion

A bigger slave bore would decrease pedal effort and increase the travel on the clutch pedal before the clutch was disengaged.

Basically you're doing less work per inch of clutch pedal travel, so it takes less effort but takes more travel to do the same "worK" to disengage the clutch.

Remanufactured means its completely rebuilt. Have you ever torn a slave cylinder apart? Its just a hydraulic piston. And for 15 dollars you can buy 3 of them for the price of the ones everyone else has found.
