Alright, I'll start with the headlights. So about a month ago I notice my left front(passenger side) headlight wouldn't always come on, but after I would flick the brights switch a few times it would come on. This went on for about a month, until yesterday I get in the car and flip the headlights on and niether of them come on. I flash the brights a few times and finally the drivers side comes on, but now the passenger side wont work. Then, tonight, both go out on me, while I was driving( very scary.) I pull over to the side of the road and finally get the drivers sdie to come on, but as I pull onto my street I go over a speed bump and it shuts off and I have no lights again. I checked the fuses and they seem to be fine, so I think it may be a loose wire, but I really have no clue so somebody help.

Now, the A/C...It has been record setting heat here in Atlanta the last week so that might have something to do with it, but I got in my car yesterday and the AC did not come on right away. I was freaking out because I am a college kid and cannot afford to replace the AC. Finally it came on and was cold as ice, but it took about 5 mins. This is happened three times so I dont know what it could be. SOMEBODY HELP

Thanks

I forgot to add, that when the headlights initally started to go, I bought new ones, but that didnt fix the problem, they still obviosuly are messed up.

You will need to provide some low and high side pressures on the AC for us to begin diagnosis. I woudl say most AC shops would be willing to throw the gauges on there and see what its doing....

Get us some high and low side pressure readings, climate set at 65F, full fan, hood open, 1500 RPM.

You mind explaining how to do that^^^^. I'm only 19, which is no excuse, but if you wouldnt mind telling me exactly how to do that I will be glad to take your advice.

This is as good as we can show you, read it twice and follow the instruction one step at a time and you'll be OK.

there is a post on here somewhere about the sodering connection to the headlights.infinitis have a huge problem with this. take it to auto zone or whatever you have where you live and ask them to check the bulbs and fuses.if that doesnt solve it find the diagram or run through as to how to fix the soddering connection.if you find it please email it to [email protected]

your a/c however, i cant help so much.you could put a pressure tester on there and clamp the hose off on each side (high and low) and see if the pressure builds up.if it doesnt you need a new compressor....or buy a freon can at wal mart that has a built in tster.check the freon if it is fine move along to the compressor trick.also dont bang the freon around and keep it clean.once you tested the freon and it doesnt need it.put zip ties back on it and make it look professional and take it back for a refund.keep your receipt......
