i have the vg30e in my hardbody(d21 pickup) and i wanna supercharge it... ive seen the vg33er an it appears to be the same block... will the heads, intake, and supercharger fit on the 3.0? or could i maybe use the vg30de heads with the vg33er intake an sc? my original idea was to turbo... but.. im goin for outside the box.... what all would i need to sc it? will the vg33er parts work? direct bolt on?.... has anyone done this?? ive been lookin everywhere i can for info an im not havin any luck...

aight so apparantly i missed the above thread.... now... what i need to find is the specs for each engine.... i got the compression ratio, bore/stroke for the vg33er but i cant find em for the vg30

vg30 is 87mm and every thing else is the same besides the snout on the cranks. Every thing is just as strong 2. bore is decent in the 33 block and can be a 34 .60 over.

I have a Nissan 720 pickup and have swapped out the Z24 engine for a 300ZX VG30 and installed a supercharger from an Xttera,I Fabricated my own adapter for the supercharger to bolt onto the 300ZX intake, and fabricated all the other stuff, I am using a HKS PFC-F con fuel computer and a (Z31) 300ZX turbo ECU .................... EXtremley fast and fun......I drove it for 6 years with the 300ZX engine and 1 year with the supercharger, now its in my shop getting the cab extended and suicide doors, cold air intake, large 300ZX front brakes and a narrowed Z32 LSD rear end. there are pics on this site.
