I've been searching all over the forum for the last hour and haven't found my answer so maybe one of you flush experts can help.

I'm have a s14 and I'm looking to buy these wheels which are 17x8 for the front and rear and the have a +/-0mm offset am I going to have an issue with hitting the rear fenders all crazy? How could I check this before I order the rims and waste my money.

Any help would be nice. Thanks

Basically when it comes to wheels there are 2 terms used to figure out if a wheel will fit. ”offset” which is any direction further in or out a rim is from the center. .... Or ”backspace” where a given rim is given a number of inches from where the rim meets the hub to the back of the rim.
Example 8” wide wheel with 0 offset = 4” from center both ways.
8” wheel with +35mm offset = wheel pushed into wheel well 35mm. (35mm away from fender, 35 mm toward strut)
In your case with a 0 offset it's quite simple, take your wheel off and measure 4” away from hub and go straight up and that is where the lip of the rim will be in the wheel well.
-camber can help with more clearance as well as ride height and tire stretch.
if you know what your doing, you can actually have the rim past the fender without rim or tires rubbing.

That's was the best answer I think anyone could have given me lol kudos. So one last question then. I don't think my fenders will really be the issue since I'm going to roll them and if necessary pull them a little. Do I have to measure 4 inches back into the wheel well also to make sure it's not going to hit the coil over also?

Yesir. For expample I'm on z32 tt wheels. The rears are 8.5 inches with 35 mm offset. They fit fine and could probly be almost an inch closer to the strut. (maybe later if I can find a 9.5 w/ 30mm offset) but my fronts are +45 mm 7.5 inch wide. I have to use spacers to prevent the tire (rubber) from hitting the strut where the bottom corner of the spring is. If I have a slight stretched Tire or coil overs I wouldn't have this problem but I already have super extended wheel struds so spacers are perfectly safe for me.

Oooooh ok ok I totally understand now. I was trying to read all the old posts trying to make some sense out of it but no one really explained it. I got some homework to do tonight then lol. But until I buy these new rims its time to order some wheel spacers haha. That's a garage mechanic for ya
