Any advice or recommendations for a good navigation system with a helpful voice command feature...and most importantly at a discount price? TKS.

Umm, Mapquest directions and a buddy as your navigator

Someone with more insight will actually help you, electronics are my thing, but I haven't played around with GPS units as of late so...

Welcome to the forum.

I didn't get navi because I had a Magellan 2200. It's portable and runs off the car's battery. It has voice commands, not voice programming though it is easy to program manually. Try Costco if you have one in your area. They are about $200.00

I LOVE my Garmen Nuvi 300!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fits perfectly in the waste of space cubby hole where nav would go...

The only thing it doesn't have is real-time traffic. You'll put down a few hundred more for that feature.
