when i bought the car (93 coupe), it came with the sportmax 002 15 x 8 with 0 offsets. the wheels stick out like 1.5 inch all around. i understand that some may like this style, but that's not my cup of tea.

so i sold the sportmax 002's and now i'm running on some steelies that are borrowed from a friend of mine. but eventually i'm gonna have to give them back.

so i need some recommendations from the experience 240 owners. what wheels should i be getting if i'm trying to go with 15, 16 or 17 x 8 that has like a +30 or +35 offset that still has the 4 x 114.3 lug patterns?

i've thought about doing a 5 lug conversion, since it would be easier to find wheels, but i really like to just stick wtih the 4 lugs for now. so what do you guys recommend? thanks.

Ugh, why would you get any wheel with a +30 offset? When will people start to realize that those offsets look like utter crap.

If you want your car to look ricey / mediocre, get offsets 25 and higher.

If you want your car to look decent, get wheels with offset lower than 25.

You should have kept the 002s and lowered the car.

Roll, Camber,
Those don't even look like they need a roll nor camber.

thank you for your input.

the car is lowered on tein basic coilovers. i didn't like 0 offset because it stuck out too much and i rub every time i go over a bump on the freeway.

i don't want to roll the fenders or get huge negative cambers in order to clear the rub issue. i just want some wheels where it would sit nearly flush and not rub.

Sounds like a plan im actually selling some Kosei K1s that are bronze if you want to buy them... they sit pretty flush and do not rub at all let me know...They are 16x7.5 with a +22 offset

whoa. whoa. ok calm down. dont do anything... crazy.

First off, What tire size are you running on the 002's? if you are running a tire that has no stretch, its not going to help you in the tire rubbing department... um... actually...Ya know what? If you decide to get rid of the 002's, give them to me! I'll pay the shipping EDIT... **** you sold them. nm.

I agree. I've seen these on 240's. They're the fit that you're asking for. Not +35 offset.

I agree with teddy here. DONT buy anything with that high of an offset, itll look sunken. Stay around 12-25 area, and you shouldnt rub.

If you are lowered, the 002s should not rub at all if you run 195/50s. This is with minimal camber.

This is an old picture of my car. In this picture, I am using a 5mm spacer in the front with 195/50R16 tires. In the rear I am using no spacer with a 205/50R16 tire. They fit perfectly. They did not rub.

^hes far past that point.

Sport max 002s fit fine. You are on stock suspension im guessing so thats why its gay as screw.

I will NEVER put anything higher than a 30 offset on ANYTHING I own.

I ran the 002s 15x8 +0 on my Scion XB. **** fits great with a 195 on it and a bit of camber.

My new wheels for it are also stupid low offset but even wider.

Theres no excuse to run **** sized wheels on your car. Man up.

If it rubs, stretch a tire, or camber it, or roll the fender. Dont just ***** out cause a year or two down the road you will be looking at your self like "why the screw was I so gay"

I have a set of these in silver. But mine are 16x8.5+27. Gonna put a 30mm spacer in the back and a 7mm spacer in the front. Gonna be nice.
