Need recommendation on non-odor sealant

I need to seal the battery compartment to prevent air from coming into the steering column to the driver area. This hot air is driving me nut.

Somewhat said the air comes from the engine bay through the battery box.

Could someone recommend some sort of sealant that will withstand the heat but without the smell? Don't want it to stink up the car.

The battery box is sealed away from the passenger compartment? Better check your source.
